Our small team put our collective heads together to go over a strategic plan for our shop this season -- we had been selling on Ebay and losing a large chunk of our profit to Ebay and Paypal fees.
After crunching the numbers we realized we were losing 15% of all profits to combined Ebay and Paypal fees. Our profit margins are small to begin with, so this cost kept us from expanding - or using those lost funds for expanding our product line.
Our goal is to provide a wider selection of items, and eventually have depth in all item categories. In short, selling on Ebay eats so much of our small profit we were unable to grow.
