Ultimate NERF Rapidstrike Mod Completed

Another project I recently painted and assembled was the Ultimate NERF Rapidstrike Mod. I've seen several of these minimized and wanted to create something slightly new and different -- a kind of SOPMOD/SMG variant.

Features 8.4 volt upgrade using C to AA battery adapters so the operator can switch back to stock power if desired.

Folding foregrip offers more comfort and control than the bulky NERF grip. Also features a zoomable Cree LED mounted on a 20mm Weaver accessory nub.

Carry handle was minimized and converted to a small Weaver scope rail. Holographic red/green multi-reticle sight is elevated slightly in the rear to allow for accurate scope sighting. (essentially the scope mount points down slightly to compensate for darts dropping in flight -- this allows the scope to be adjusted more accurately)

Also features a sweet Multi-Mission Magpul sling. Right before I painted this beast I was inspired to convert it to a removable stock. I cannibalized an old Barricade for the stock mount and added a Retaliator stock. Remove the stock and you have a Rapidstrike SMG! I love the way this beast turned out.
